BLOCKBUSTER SUMMER
Based on the novel by Ian Fleming, special agent 007 comes face to face with one of the most notorious villains of all time, and now he must outwit and outgun the powerful tycoon to prevent him from cashing in on a devious scheme to raid Fort Knox – and obliterate the world’s economy.
The third James Bond spy film was the first declared a blockbuster, with the budget equalling the first two combined, again featuring superstar Sean Connery. It may also be the most iconic Bond film, with gadgets, one-liners and wild action that set the bar for the long series, enabled by Connery's punchy demeanor and a fantastic supporting cast, including Honor Blackmon as the badass Pussy Galore, and Gert Fröbe stealing the show as the maniac Auric Goldfinger, who will do anything to get all the gold.
